The Planters Bank branch in Princeton opened in January 2013. The Planters Bank completed a full branch refurbishment in the summer of 2014. With the refurbishment completed, Planters Bank said it wanted show their commitment to this community. “We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service. We are committed to community service and all of our employees are involved in many different civic organizations, ”said branch manager Jake Pepper.

Planters offers a “Best Free Checking Account”. This account is a no-frills account with no monthly maintenance fees. It also offers a “PaySound checking account”. With this account, there are never any overdraft fees, plus access to a personal line of credit up to $ 1,000 without a credit check. With all current accounts, the customer receives a debit card made on site as well as access to online banking.

A 60 month progressive CD with a minimum of $ 10,000 with the potential to earn up to 3% interest is available.

“Growing up in Princeton, I was fortunate to be able to give back to this community in so many different ways,” noted Pepper. “I was a member of the board of directors of the Princeton / Caldwell County Chamber of Commerce for three years and am currently a member of the board of directors of the Caldwell County Scholarship Foundation. I have also had the chance to work with great people and a great property. Outside of my day-to-day responsibilities at Planters Bank, I think my biggest responsibility is to serve and give back to this community that uplifted me, in any way I can.
