Sushmita has been in the headlines for quite some time now. The actress recently gave a savage response to all the trollers who called her a gold digger. Now ex and Sushmita filmmaker Vikram Bhatt has come forward to support the actress over the gold digger remark. The filmmaker educated people for calling the actress a gold digger.
First, Bhatt and Sen date from the mid-190s. During this time, Sushmita was filming for her first film Dastak. While chatting with India Today, Bhatt mentioned that Sushmita is the last person to worry about bank balances.
“Sushmita is the last person who checks bank balances before deciding to fall in love with someone. I was penniless. I was running Ghulam, but I had no money. I will not forget that Sushmita is the first person who took me to the United States and paid for my trip. I had no money. When we arrived in Los Angeles and there was a limo, I was surprised She said she wanted to make my entry into the United States very special,” Bhatt said as quoted by India Today.
Vikram further added that Sushmita is a “love seeker, not a gold digger”.
“I think making fun of other people’s lives is entertainment. Somebody’s tragedy is somebody’s entertainment, it’s always there. When Kareena [Kapoor] married Saif [Ali Khan], even she was trolled. So I think it goes with the territory, if you’re a celebrity and if there’s one of your decisions that seems funny to the netizens, they start trolling,” Vikram said.
For the uninitiated, Vikram is the author of the film Dastak, which marked Sushmita’s debut in the Bollywood industry.
A huge buzz was created on the internet last Thursday when former IPL President Lalit Modi announced his relationship with the former Miss Universe.
